Diane Fader
Having spent my adult life practicing as a psychologist/psychoanalyst, I find that I approach painting with a completely different perspective than how I was "trained" to think analytically. I am interested in surface, rather than depth, in color and shape, rather than words. I find resolution in the form or design of the canvas and look to color as a kind of collision/collusion of unthought ideas. Meaning is in the eye of the beholder and can become anything, anytime, anyplace. It is infinitely interesting to me.
